PARIS - TOP model Doutzen Kroes is branching out into film to appear as a 16th century cabin boy's love interest in her native Netherlands' first 3-D movie, the Het Parool newspaper reported on Thursday.
Directed by Reinout Oerlemans, the film - due out in November - recounts explorer Willem Barentsz's doomed third attempt to find the Northeast Passage in 1596, said the Amsterdam-based newspaper on its website.
