THE man responsible for the nail-biting, blood-chilling 2008 South Korean blockbuster The Chaser, Lee Shinho, now lives in Singapore. A renowned scriptwriter, Lee's distinctive style will be apparent in his first Singapore film The Daughter, a soon-to-be-shot psycho thriller on the subject of cyber paedophiles.
Born and raised in Seoul, Lee Shinho moved to the United States at the age of 19 to pursue a degree in dramatic writing from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. The 34-year-old relocated to Singapore last August and is now lecturing at his alma mater's Asia campus here.
